A zesty Veggie soup with rice. Add a pound of stir fried ground beef or Jimmy Dean Spicy sausage with a loaf of hot Italian bread covered with our Cheesy Tomato Herb oil dip and you have yourself one heck of meal.

DIRECTIONS: Bring 8 cups of water to a boil. With a wire whisk, whisk in soup mix. If you are going to add meat now is the time. We recommend a pound of ground beef stir fried or a pound of stir fried Jimmy dean spiced sausage. reduce heat to medium and simmer for at least 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste.
Crock Pot: Start with 8 cups of hot water , whisk in soup mix and if you are going to add a meat now would be the time. We recommend a pound of stir fried hamburger or a pound of stir fried Jimmy Dean sausage. Set crock pot on low for a minimum of 2 hours It can cook 6 to 8 hours if needed.
FOR 4 SERVINGS: Shake bag and divide contents in half. Prepare as directed using half the water.
FOR VARIETY: Add a pound of cooked ground beef or cooked spicy sausage.
YIELD: About 8 to 10 one cup servings.
